First Data Corp
at 2006-04-04 01:40:35

Cramer came up with a way to make money of the ever expanding immigration in the U.S. He made bullish comments on First Data Corp (FDC) which owns Western Union. Cramer thinks Western Union's business is on fire because immigrants sent home $40 billion in remittances last year using Western Union. First Data controls about 15% of the world's remittance business, a big market chunk, he said. And even though the company's China and India business is still a small part of that business, those markets are growing at 60%, he added. First Data Corp will be spinning off Western Union later this year and Cramer thinks this is bullish for First Data Corp because Wall Street wants to see less concentration in wiring money for them. First Data Corp also operates in ATM processing and check verification, money transfers, bill payments, and credit card businesses. Cramer thinks if you buy First Data Corp now you are getting Western Union at a great value.
