One Wall Street Truth You Can't Trust

"Buy a good company, hold it, and over time, you'll make money." When investing in today's market, this conventional wisdom has been true for over two decades. What we forget is that conventional wisdom is, by definition, grounded in the experience and customs/conventions of a particular time and place. At each point in time, such truths seem self-evident.
